Treasurers Report:
I have updated the financial report to reflect the year end 31/12/23. In addition I have had another look at the finances for 2024 .

The above figure of £1338:03 represents a healthy balance going into 2024.
I have revisited the projected costs for 2024 and would now like to make a new proposal for the coming year.
My proposal is based on a membership of 24, with an average attendance of 16 which has been the case for the last two years.
Based on the above figures the average cost of each meeting in 2024 will be £43:00.
This figure includes the two's and the three bottles of wine.
My proposal is that we hold the cost to members at the existing level of £40:00 per meeting and that we reinstate the annual membership back to where it was two years ago at £25:00
I would also propose that any guest would be charged a minimum of £40:00 per meeting but if the meeting they attend cost more than £40:00 they would be charged the actual cost of that meeting.
All the above will be discussed at the A.G.M. so please come along and have your say.

Agreed by majority:
100% of money collected in fines to go to the Captain's charity, backdated to 2023.
Annual membership to be £25. New members pay pro-rata according to how many events remain for the year.
Cost per meeting to be £40 for members, Guests pay £45 and if they subsequently join in the same year, they will get the extra £5s refunded.
There needs to be 3 or more guests at a meeting for a guests prize to be awarded.
Handicapping system remains the same as 2023. 2023 final handicaps carry over to be 2024 starting handicaps.
As final meeting of 2023 at The Warren was cancelled due to bad weather, the Race to the Warren was the 6 best scores out of the 9 meetings played.
